Black Dog Syndrome is part of Green Pets America Charities, IRS 501c3 Non-Profit Organization founded in Woodstock Georgia in 2007.  We are an animal rescue and adoption nonprofit. We educate the public on Black Dog Syndrome. Black dogs are the least adopted and most killed shelter dogs in America. It is estimated that more than 500,00 black dogs are euthanized in shelters each year.

We started out as a nonprofit pet food pantry serving Cherokee and Cobb County. We then expanded to an animal shelter /death row rescue serving the State of Georgia. We are now advocates for black dogs the least adopted most killed shelter dogs in America.
