Ahimsa Animal Welfare is the only animal welfare society advocating the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi of nonviolence, respect, and care for all living things. In animal welfare, we advocate no-kill. This image of a gun graphically states that whether we kill shelter animals by euthanasia needle or a gun the results are the same. A sentient, living feeling, and loving being has been killed by violence. It is the antithesis of non-violence. And yes: guns don’t kill, people kill. It is time people stop killing companion animals in the places, “shelters” where we are supposed to find them new homes.
Take a pledge, with God and your own conscience as witness, Non-violence and freedom is not for the coward or the faint-hearted
Mahatma Gandhi

Although we are immersed today within one of Humanities darkest hours there is incredible hope, and genius within the human spirit to find a way Beyond the Impossible to a world of nonviolence, and peace, at the highest enlightened level.
